I’m not a coffee drinker, actually hate coffee and the only thing I get at Starbuck’s is their Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with Caramel. Only thing, it’s like $5.00 for a small – er “tall” and I knew there had to be a way to make it, and I did! It tasted just like it and for all the ingredients and how long those ingredients will last, I am saving so much more money this way.
— 1 1/2 cups of milk
— 1 cup of ice
— 3 scoops of vanilla bean ice cream (I didn’t have an ice cream scooper, so I guessed that 3 tablespoons = 1 scoop)
— 1 teaspoon of sugar (I think it needed a little more sugar)
— 1/8 teaspoon of vanilla extract
— Whip cream
I had this with my friend Megan and she never had it with the caramel, so once you blend everything together, I put the caramel in the cup first, then the blended ingredients, topped it with whip cream and more caramel. If you want to be extra and make it really feel like Starbucks, get some green straws lol.
Sidenote: The ingredients above were the perfect amount for 2 servings.
